Give Blood for those who give life…

             Blood donation association is a voluntary organization which endeavors to make blood available in urgent situations. A list of voluntary blood donors from various parts of the District are arranged for this. The Forum started functioning in 2007 and now at under the LEAD Foundation. It is a youth oriented social club committed in saving lives by regularly donating blood. Through the center, members are encouraged to attend blood centers, learn about healthy life styles, and give blood regularly. Members can make new friends around the place and it promote long chain of life saving and life changing practices. The main aim of the forum is promoting the value of saving lives by giving blood through active participation and healthy lifestyle choices. Blood donation camps were organized in different Churches, Colleges, Schools, NGOs and other institutions to create awareness and involve youth in blood donation and explain about blood banking. Distributing booklets and informative literature on blood donation in local areas and junctions to educate about blood donation .Mission of the forum is committed to improving the quality of life

Prevention is better than cure…

            In the community, the most people are affected by alcohol and drugs. In some ways it feels like it is an issue everywhere. Nationwide, alcohol and drugs affect each and everyone, directly or indirectly. The society need to be much aware that addiction as a disease affects every aspect of the afflicted person’s life, at the physical and mental level, in relationships and even causes the person to lose all sense of morality.

An addictive habit to substance like drugs, alcohol, smoking, liquor etc. are not only individual’s problem, but also affects his/her family, surrounding and the society as a whole. So we need to help, recover and re integrate them back to the society. 

             Love and Care the poor and needy by visiting in their homes as volunteers in their free time. It also arranges visit to homes of those who are seriously ill and provides necessary help to them. If the patients who are suffering from chronic diseases, lost hope in life, unable to go hospital or fails to get proper medical treatment, the center positively approaches and help them on such situation. Our workers are able to console the terminally ill patients and their families who find it difficult to face the situation.

Pain and palliative care unit improves the quality of life of patients and their families facing the problem associated with life –threatening illness, through the prevention and relief of suffering by means of early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, physical, psychological and spiritual affirms life and regards dying as normal process Palliative care :

 Integrates the psychological and spiritual aspects of patient care

 Offers a support system to help patients live as actively as possible until death

 Offers a support system to help the family cope during the patient’s illness and in their own bereavement

 Will enhance quality of life, and may also positively influence the course of illness.We're working to improve access to healthcare in underserved communities. Our team provide medical care and mental health services to those in need.

           Suicide prevention cell started on 10 th Sept. 2008 the World Suicide Prevention Day at Asraya. The cell organizes seminars and discussions, bike rally, street play, distribution of booklets etc. for the propaganda of values of life.

             Grief is a natural reaction after death. Grieving children, teens, and adults deserve the opportunity to experience the healing process in a safe, warm and nurturing environment. The healing process enhanced through the house visits, friendships and connections that are developed in support groups

LEAD FOUNDATION‘s goals are to provide comprehensive and accessible counseling and support services for the terminally ill and their families, and for those recently bereaved. The center offers complete bereavement care services including bereavement counseling, educational books & DVDs and information for bereaved adults and children.

Professional bereavement care is available to all members of the community. Our volunteers have been specifically trained in facilitating bereavement groups. The center trains members at hospitals, houses, hospices, and congregations on how to talk with patients who are dying and families who are grieving. Mission of the center is to help individuals and families cope with the death of a significant person in their life. 

             When people are unable to overcome crisis situations in life,

the cell can help individuals deal with the crisis by offering assistance and support 

             Professional counselors committed to provide individual, marriage, family, and group counseling services. The ultimate goal is to equip each client to effectively interact with self, other, and their ongoing therapist.

 Poor scholastic performance

 Teenage problems

 Alcoholism and drugs dependence

             The Trust has been providing educational assistances to those students who are the border of learning disability but living in unfavorable conditions. Conduct Seminar to make the people know that Education is the best means “drawing out what was already inn”.  

           The Trust also provides financial aid to many poor people for buying medicines, treatments, hospitalizations etc .It also provide medicines to deserve patients especially psychiatric and cancer. During the year 2014-15 the below mentioned amount spent for such assistance

             Once in every week Hospital visits are arranged under the leadership of Priests, Social Workers, or Trust Members. If needed Counseling is provided to patients and bystanders. This has strengthened many people and enabled them to overcome the crisis situation in their lives.

LEAD Foundation is promoted organic farming with the help of TIES

The trust has been providing house renovation assistance to the poor needy people.
